Mark Sanchez

Has Mark Sanchez been overhyped and gotten too much praise in his brief NFL career. I'll argue yes and say the hype is mostly generated by him playing in NYC. Sanchez is good, but he is not being asked to do much so far.

I think the attention aspect is a bit much, but do I doubt his ability? Not really. I think he is exactly what the Jets have needed: an injection of youth who will be able to gain confidence and in turn begin the exponential ascent of a Jets team that is primed for good things in the coming years.
